FAQ for my fic
Here are the answers to some questions that I've gotten, and that you may have, that don't spoil the plot or anything.
Q: How the heck did the girls get back in time to 1880, anyway? (Exactly)
A: They were sucked back in time at the end of a battle. Most likely they were fighting a demon with time warping properties and when it was defeated by Willow and Tara's magic it started a chain reaction causing the time portal to open up to a random time and place and suck those standing closest to it (Willow, Tara and Buffy) into the past. I left if kind of vague since, however they got there, they're stuck there now. ^_^
Q: Are the girls ever going home? Please tell me they're not!
A: Don't worry, the girls are never going back to the future. Bwa ha ha ha! I couldn't do that to poor William.
Q: What about the timeline? Won't it be messed up? Paradoxes and what-not?
A: In the story, Willow has several theories that are voiced 'off screen.' This one is my favorite and solves the paradox problem. The Alternate Reality Time Travel Theory #: This is an acutal theory- I'm not making this up- that if one traveled back in time they would create an alternate universe by their very presence in that past point. The original time they came from would remain the same, but any future they could get to would be an alternate one. So Buffy and the girls have 'created' a new universe and are now inhabiting it.
Q: What about Angelus and Darla? Wasn't Angel ticked at Dru's dusting?
A: I'll be addressing this breifly at some point in the fic. It's safe to say Angelus wasn't pleased. I don't think Darla is all that put-out, though.
